Thanks for your comment, i appreciate your input. In fact our cells do operate digitally in a way. The choice they have at each moment is to be moving towards growth or moving towards defense. They are unable to move in both directions at the same time, the biological functions are actually directly opposite from each other. The choice of which way to be pointing is determined by the brain of the cell, the membrane. This responds to signals from the environment around the cell, in other words it responds to the chemistry that it is presented with. This chemistry for the most part is neuropeptides or the chemical endpoint of thoughts. This is the arena where the mind-body connection happens.

Your comment "So, when we go on auto pilot our cells die, and when we get creative our cells live?" is actually a good simplified summary of the point of this article. It is true that when you go on "autopilot" your cells move towards functions of survival, which is away from growth, and therefore in the longrun this does lead to death of the cell and/or dysfunction of the system it is part of. Growth= adaptation and change, Defense= rigidity, denial of change, and lack of adaptation. In nature adaptation and change means continued life where rigidity, denial of change, and lack of adaptation means certain death.

If you are interested in more about the digital nature of our cells check out "The Biology of Belief" by Bruce Lipton, PhD. He leads you on a clear and easy to understand journey through your cells and shows how they function.

So, when we go on auto piliot our cells die, and when we get creative our cells live?

It's not so black & white to me. I think we define what perfect health is by what we want to do with our life. Perfect health is what best lets us do what we want. If someone really wants to die, death is perfect health, in a twisted way. Anyways, I think our cells are more analogue than digitall. Maybe most just set their dials to the same thing eventually (death).
